I think people are comparing Mitch McConnell over Chuck Schumer. Trump is the front man for the senate. The senate makes the executive look fairly democratic when you compare Wyoming to Texas.

OK, now you really have to follow up with a post on the Senate! Interested to hear your thoughts on whether Schumer and Dem leadership's strategy of doubling down on moderates in primaries will lead to winning more seats on November, and what this means for progressives.

On March 9, The MITRE Corporation sent 10,000 staff to work at home for a minimum of 90 days. I have been having longish conversations with my staff (was on extended medical leave for who knows for 6 weeks during this period) and what I have been finding has been a revelation: Psychic healing. As for my staff, no one is probably going to go back to the office. MITRE has been in overdrive pushing out collaborative tools and integrating them with our federal customers. My staff, on average, is getting back 3 hours of their day from commutes. One of my staff has filled up a whole sketch book of art that just blew me away. Another is creating short videos based on Monty Python to teach agile engineering. We are not going back. Some are going to return to their rural roots to take care of their parents. Others, like me, are making moves based on age and income. I plan to be in Cheyenne, WY, in 24 months. 2 hrs from Denver. XC skiing. Great cycling territory. And funny thing: Cheyenne is almost purple. The population of WY is not much more than half of DC. COVID may be the great equalizer. I plan to be a part of turning Cheyenne blue.
